Nick + Daryl

Nick & Daryl have been with the Rewind from the very beginning and are responsible for operational components, editing, production and social media presence.

Played at Syracuse university from 1981-1985. High school teammate of fellow Orangeman Sean Kerins. Played PG and 2G for the Orangemen and was co-Captain along with Andre Hawkins of the 84/85 Orangemen. Went to SUNY Buffalo dental school and graduated in 1989, was 4 year graduate assistant coach of the UB Bulls as they transitioned from D3- D1. Coached years of AAU girls basketball and was varsity high school women’s coach for 9 years at Maine Endwell, where they won 7 sectional titles , and 2 NYS final four appearances. Won bcany coach of the year 6 times and NYS coach of the year once. Operates 5 dental offices in the Binghamton and NE PA .. Wife of 37 years Angela and 3 kids – Marcus Erica and Carla

Dr. Sonny Spera

Played at Villanova University from 1982-1986. His teams went to 4 NCAA tournaments including 2 Elite 8’s. He played an integral part in the 1985 NCAA National Championship, in which Villanova beat the Mighty Georgetown Hoyas, in a game that people call one of the biggest upsets in sports, right behind the 1980 Olympic Hockey team.  He was a Captain of the 1986 Wildcats. In 1986 he was drafted by the Utah Jazz of the NBA played in England for the Derby Rams of the first division. Played in the CBA  for the Wyoming Wildcatters. Played in USBL for Long Island Surf. Has been in the gasoline business for over 30 years making stops with Mobil, Getty, Sunoco, and is currently a Dealer Business Consultant with 7-Eleven Fuels. Chuck has been the guy that is the “glue” of that 85 championship team, that keeps the group together and connected with each other and with the University. Chuck and his wife Kathy are married over 30 years and have 2 children, CJ and Kathleen.
